This town shares almost the same history as Tangiers , however the 20th century made it famous because of the kidnapping of an American citizen by Raisouli , the last pirate of the once Barbary coast.

Upon arrival we visit the Portuguese casbah built on the 15th century and used later by the Spanish as a military headquarters.
The walk through the casbah take’s you to visit the outskirts of the Raisouli palace today an art gallery, the tower of Krikia and bab el homar and of course the souks.
This well preserved Medina will simply blow your mind by its harmony between white and blue , art and reality.
Free time offered to wander through the casbah and an opportunity to enjoy a meal by the water.
